Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom Review

Posted on 06/05/2013 at 07:01 PM | Filed Under Review

This is one of those games that I started and got distracted away from by something new and shiny. Or maybe something that I'd lost under the couch. Either way, I need to get back to it at some point, as I really liked what I'd played.

I'm hoping to hear anything about The Last Guardian.

Update 6/4/13: Long break, but I'm back now

Nah, lots of people don't use their own pic on there. I'm currently using the osprey photo I took. I don't play Facebook games, I figure I have enough other places to play games, I don't need to play on FB.

Should be lots, it's an international craze at this point. Just go to the website and type in your zipcode, I bet at least 20 pop up.

Whenever I'd get grief from family about playing my DS, I'd point out that I don't smoke, do any other sort of "recreational" drugs, and rarely drink. Then I'd tell them that everyone needs a vice. It shut up 99% of them.

Wheels Of Steel

Never been all that into motorcycles myself. Two wheels equals disaster with me without an engine, I can just imagine all the ways I could really hurt myself with one. That said, love playing Road Rash.

Another good book about motorcycles is Pilgrimage on a Steel Ride by Gary Paulsen.

When I was at my previous park posting, I had a lot of anxiety issues going on due issues with my boss. I would come home after having had several anxiety attacks during the course of the day and play Flower. Between the visuals and the music and the gameplay style, I'd calm down enough to relax and even sleep, as my anxiety was also causing sleep issues.

Super Nintendo Lives! How To Play Today

Posted on 06/05/2013 at 01:03 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I have one of those aftermarket multi-consoles. Plays NES, SNES, and Genesis carts. So far, it's played all the NES carts I've tried, but I have a very small NES collection. I missed on out the early Nintendo consoles, so this was the easiest way for me to play the games. If I run into a game that won't work with the FC3plus, there's a store nearby that usually has old consoles for sale. He's very reputable, so I'm not worried that I'll get one that doesn't work.

So I decided I wanted to do some renovations....

Been following this on Facebook. Nice to see it all in one place. Now if you want to come up here, my place could use some interior decorating, and Court, Coopa and I wouldn't even be in your way, lol.

Both the game and the cartoon were done by Terry Jones, so I have hopes that it will be at least amusing. Ah, the SGC! It's kind of scary, but I still have a bunch of those games on the original carts, lol. One of the best compilations out there, in my opinion. A little something for everyone. And it looks like I'm going to have to email GH and let him know that he's missed.
