I've tried this game several times, once on PS2 and once on Vita. I really didn't get very far but it was a very interesting game I'd like to play more of.
I thought he was pretty good. I think he had something to do with the writing on one of the games as well.

There is an excellent Dead Space graphic novel I read years ago. The writer was Antony Johnston and I followed him for a while in his Wasteland series.
