I keep an eye out for Shin Megami Tensei games as a matter of principle lol. Really enjoying SMT IV right now, which is the first one I've actually given substantial time to.

I don't see the point in getting a new console Day One anymore. The graphical jump alone used to justify it if nothing else but it's hardly noticeable anymore. My wife is far more excited about the next generation than I am lol. Like you, I have plenty of great games still waiting to be played.
Handhelds, though, that's another story. My 3DS XL has gotten more use this year than anything else. There are great games in all sorts of genres and more on the way. I'd definitely recommend getting one.
I applaud you, sir, for keeping your backlog down. Mine, on the other hand, is ginormous. You can check it out here.
*shocked awe* You beat TMNT...
Thanks! And you definitely missed out 'cause that cake was delicious!
I'm glad you clarified that because for a moment I forgot that you're not actually naked Tom Selleck and surely he would do such a thing
I've always wanted to be into anime but have never had much of a chance. Fox played Dragon Ball Z when I was a kid and I watched as much of that as I could but we never had cable and buying anime on tape was soooo expensive. Since then I've watched a few things, namely Akira (which was weird and depressing) and everything Ghost in the Shell (which is awesome) but I'd love to see more, particularly Evangelion. Attack on Titan sounds cool though
I haven't watched a lot of anime but I've seen everything with Ghost in the Shell in the title, and Stand Alone Complex (including 2nd Gig and Solid State Society) is just awesome. It can be a little difficult to follow sometimes but it's definitely worth the effort.
