My mom's on blood thinners because of her minor strokes and triple heart bypass, so I needed to get them to her. But yeah, me and my mom are pretty close, even though I've always been a daddy's girl. And did I ever mention it was a lovely day for a road trip? Perfect Maine summer day, beautiful scenery, and all the traffic jams were going the opposite way that we were. As for gaming stores, there are several in the area like that, and all the Bull Moose Music stores sell retro games, too. I am spoiled for choices! Anything that eats mosquitoes in my book is amazing, awesome, fantastic, and super-duper! That includes bats.

I watn to get to your demo soon, life's just been busy lately. So I understand not being on every form of social media for a while.

You got a lot of anime watching in! Your weekend good wishes are timely for me, as today is effectively my Saturday. Up until a few minutes ago, it was a planned "stay in my pjs and watch movies all day" day, but Jason needs a place to hang out until his ride gets out of work. Oh, well. Needed to register my car anyway.

I keep forgetting I need to mail you something that I promised like last year. Oh, right, you were supposed to let me know what Mrs. GH likes, so I could send her a present, too.

I was so lucky to go to the college I did when I did, because the place was so strapped for cash that everything was hand-on in the field. Hard for an incompetent professor to slide by. We got one guy fired, he left in the middle of the semester for three weeks for job in Hawaii without telling the administration and leaving us to our own devices for three weeks. He also graded according to how well he liked you, and he hated me. I didn't even bother with the final. My friend Erik and I were pretty much equal academically, and Erik got an A and I got a D. Erik went to the dean on my behalf, I wasn't going to bother, and then the dean called me in to ask me about it and reassured me that the asshole prof would never be teaching at the college again.

Boyfriend was looking over my shoulder when I first read this blog entry and his comment was "Whoa! Cool drawings!" His dad was an art teacher and he got dragged to the Portland (Maine) Museum of Art every week for his entire childhood, so that's a major compliment.

I like the 360 controller. It just feels right ergonomically. The Game Cube controller was a surprising second, comfy and everything was intuitively placed.

Even if you never do anything with it other than enjoy learning about natural history, it's still worth it.
