I guess NIntendo doesn't want you to move your data around to different hardware, even their own hardware.
Too easy sounds good to me. A lot of beat 'em ups are annoyingly hard or downright unfair in their gameplay.

There is an excellent Dead Space graphic novel I read years ago. The writer was Antony Johnston and I followed him for a while in his Wasteland series.
