Yeah the controls were not as good on the NES version, but otherwise it was a pretty good port. Did you know Rare programmed the NES version? It's just a testament to how much I liked Marble Madness if I had the NES version.
I reviewed both Koronipa games on the Wii. Hudson made those games, may they rest in peace.
I had an Apple II PC as well as a kid back then! It was our first home computer and my first 'game console' as well.
I LOVED Marble Madness! I even had the NES version.
I also liked Gauntlet, but I didn't play it as much in arcades because usually the bigger kids hogged it.
Hooray for Chocobos! You ever wonder if Big Bird is a Chocobo?
When I wear my Mega Man shirt, I get a lot of compliments about it from guys, "Cool shirt, man!" When I wear my Kingdom Hearts shirt, I get a lot of compliments from ladies, I've noticed.
Borderlands 3 was pretty big at PAX. I got a mask at their booth that I gave to my brother Jeff. Gearbox makes those games, right? That company is just a couple of miles from my house.
So out of curiosity, do you remember any games that I've reviewed that saved you from buying them?
Of course I would name my pet moose Bullwinkle. What else would you name a moose? I'm not sure a moose would like the Texas heat, though.
I didn't even know there was a GamerDad news feed!
I just really liked that they put references to Servebots in there. Love those guys.
Yeah as a kid, I didn't really notice a crash either.
You know, I know a lot about arcade cabinets, owning some and being to arcade auctions and all. And as far as I know, 'marquee' and 'side art' are the correct terms for those things.
