Monster Rancher 2 is probably the most I ever enjoyed a pet simulation kind of game. Such a cool idea with the CDs! I'm pretty sure the same CD will always produce the same monster, though it is random what that monster will be. Otherwise you could just continually pop in the same CD to get different monsters, which would take away a lot of the fun. And I'm pretty sure the game series came before the anime. Definitely a cool series though. I don't think there have been any new entries in a while, which is a shame, but I'm not sure how they'd work the monster generation anymore. Unless the game was on a big home console, they couldn't use disks. Hopefully it'll make a comeback some day.

I still think New Super Mario Bros Wii has the best ending Bowser sequence. Very epic.

I got the first Firefly comic for Christmas but haven't gotten around to reading it yet. Need to do that...

Bayonetta is one of those game that I will play sooner or later. I still need to pick up a copy though. It's funny that you mention Devil May Cry and The Wonderful 101, since those two games and Bayonetta all share the same director, Hideki Kamiya.

Nerf makes game cases now? Of course, they also make foam darts to fight off zombies with lol. Crazy world we live in.

Castlevania is definitely a big influence for me. I especially love those ones on the DS! But since Ben's game has already come out, I've decided to just keep this as a portforlio piece as an example of this kind of song.

Looks like an awesome book! Sooner or later I'm going to play these games. Thankfully, I have them both now. Too bad more games don't use this great watercoler style.
