I think 3D Land is tailored really well to its platform. The levels are short and the 3D is actually useful. It's different than the Marios that came before but it's supposed to be, hence the name not following an established Mario "series." I'm glad you enjoyed it at least. I wonder if you'd think 3D World is more Mario-y.

Looks like you made some good choices there. I was wondering why you got Thor but now it makes sense. WayForward does good work 

Yeah, you get him at the end of World 1, I think. I still haven't finished my second run of the game. Somewhere in World 7 but I've been playing as Luigi ever since getting him.

I've never heard of Of Orcs and Men. I think it's cool that they made the men the bad guys! I love the soundtrack for Time and Eternity. I wrote a blog about it, actually.

We nearly bought Puppeteer on Sony's New Year sale but decided against it. Glad we did! My wife will be super excited about that one. I have LIMBO for my computer but still haven't played it, so having it on the Vita sounds awesome 

Congrats, man! VI is my favorite FF but I can appreciate what VII did for gaming in general and RPGs in particular. It has some great moments too.

If you spend those hours breeding chocobos to get the golden chocobo, you can get Knights of the Round (the most powerful summon in the game) and that makes the final boss pretty easy  But man, breeding those birds...that's tedious...

I'm going with the one giant goomba. Like planet earth, Goombas are mostly harmless so taking one out, regardless of size, shouldn't be too hard.
