I hadn't played any of those games. I'll get to Skyrim someday. I'm currently playing some old stuff. Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin (DS) and Metal Gear (PS3). The Metal Gear I'm playing is part of the recently released Metal Gear Solid Legacy Collection, so it's sort of new. 
I can't wait to get my copy nex week. I hope it's better than Odin Sphere. I wasn't overly happy with that game.
Scientists are turning Christian? That's news to me. I remember a lot of Christians making similar statements many years ago, but I just chalked it up to you know.... Christian talk.
I do agree, I'd rather live my life than worry about how that life began. 
That's a damn good price for Ni no Kuni. I'd just get it from GS. Ni no Kuni is becoming a bit harder to find lately. You can't even buy used copies online from GS. They have new copies though.
I'm sure over half your nation is still Christian. And, Christianity isn't the only religion against gay marriage. Let's not forget Judaism and Islam. They're not big fans of gay marriage either.

Even if MS' pr was perfect, I still wouldn't get a XB1. It wasn't going in the direction I wanted to go. Now that it has changed, I can consider getting the console down the road. Digital games may be the way gaming ends up, but it's not for me. If I can't hold it in my hands and have the value of my collection go up, then I'm just throwing my money away.
I'm not a big fan of MS, but I enjoyed the XB and the 360. Both have consoles have many of my favorite games.
