I should add that I listened to this podcast again over the holiday break, and Yarger needs to podcast more. Actually just give him his own podcast. I'm sure you could talk about Disgaea 2 and sell us on it.

I'm afraid of these types of games. Being pulled in by the gravity that is grinding is my kryptonite.
I haven't tried it out with regular controls, but I bet it is more precise than swiping. Fun game though.
I played this game on iPad when it launched and it was awesome. It is still awesome. I liked unlocking all the chars. I wrote a blog on here a while ago. Good taste in games bro!

And all of these games fall into different categories too. Gamers who play one type of game wouldnt necessarily play any of the others.
I honestly played the previous games over the course of a year at a time, so two together is too much. I can wait for EO5 for sure. I haven't even touched SMT4, but plan to.
Well no one can disagree with a personal list. It's your personal fav games.
It baffles me that Atlus released 2 EO games so close together, it's almost unfair. The previous games had a longer gap between them, they even re-released the first 3 games again. I have yet to play Millenium Girl, but I'll eventually get to it. But Bravely Default is coming out soon, so ...
Well I particularly liked the visual style of the game. I'm not sure if the other had a gritty Western theme to them. I kind of had a comic book fell as well.
It was a good game, but with more focus it could have been great. It is a little like Zelda in that you have to find a special item/weapon to proceed to the next area, that and navigation your ship on the ocean. My only real issue with the game is that the Mission Log could have been better. As it is now, missions are just stacked on each other and you have to kind of guess what you want to do. It could use a mini map or world map. Incredibles would benefit from this as well. I think their main focus was on the Toy Box, and the solo levels were an afterthought-- I'm assuming.
