Yeah, like football in the 20s. I wonder if baseball has done it in MLB: The Show. I think I've seen old stadiums in one of those games.

I used to play a lot of Activision Tennis on Atari. That's when I was playing tennis the real world, but I haven't really found a fun Tennis game yet. I tried Top Spin once and it seemed impossible to learn the controls. Of course I played Wii Sports Tennis a bunch with some friends. That was ok. I like the idea of Sega Superstars Tennis.
I am not so interested in the big titles of Marvel and DC for some reason. I did get some Batman comics once but they were real spinoff stories or side stories, not the main Batman comics. Only Dr. Strange interests me and he was traditionally a less popular character. I don't know now, seems he's pretty big now.
I played Adventure back in '80 but I never played the Swordquest games. Although I might have had one of them from a flea market buy in the 90s that I tried. I think I couldn't understand how to play it at all. I probably didn't have a manual or anything. Yeah, sometimes Atari games needed a manual to play them.
I'm not sure who I'm pleasing really. Every answer is on a timer so I choose quickly. Sometimes I get a positive sound and sometimes a negative one. I guess I'll find out in the next battle who trusts me enough to perform a linking attack with me.
I played some more today but rage quit it. I think there's something quirky about the traversal mechanics. It feels like you can only jump or climb at certain spots. Sometimes I go to jump and nothing happens because that particular wall isn't climbable. Bah! I should be able to climb anything with a edge to it especially after I got the hook device.
Thanks. The other problem is COVID. I can't just go and sit anywhere like a Starbucks or the local health food store.
I recently turned an old phone into a music player. Works great. Now I don't have to burn CD mixes anymore.
Neat. I vaguely remember playing this and probably having the same experience as you. I like Taito's mash-ups of more popular games. It's interesting and creative, if not always as enjoyable.
I read volume 1 and liked it pretty well. Lemire apparently was heavily influenced by it in his own series.
