You also have some abilities to unlock like slow down time or a push back move to force enemies back. It's a bit like Bioshock or Mass Effect with super abilities.
I was always looking for ledges or using sleepin darts to get buy. It's nice to have options.
Human Revolution is the next game on my list.
I think you have to have a lot of patience for the stealthy play through. I got through a lot of the way by using stealth. Knife fights were fun though!
It makes it easier if you start with the shortest games first.
I finished them both in like one week.
I just marathoned through it. Like 10-12 hours really. The story is really good. The abilities are fun to use!
Weird conversations:
Well I recently played a short demo where I was a Savior who is sent from Valhalla to rescue the souls of all the people of a world that will end in 13 days. I got to wear a lot of fabulous outfits, including cat tails and it ends with a dragon.
Else I am playing a game where I am a space miner with a surgical weapon as a handgun who mutilates everything that moves in the dark.
Else I was trying to overthrow a corrupt gov while avoiding cannibal rats, zombies and soldiers who can teleport like me. Sometimes I can slow down time or see through walls.
Else I'm a luchador who can transform into a rooster and travel between the living and dead world while also assisting villagers with their tasks like reuniting missing mariachi band members.
I remember Demons Souls had a limited print run first time around and it was hard to find. I bought it new and it sat on a shelf wrapped while I was playing Final Fantasy 13 or something. When the game first came out no one really new what it was. Well that isn't really true. It was compared to another hard PS One game and a few people were anticipating it. Anyway, eventually Sony put out more copies due to the demand and extended online servers. I think after Dark Souls, players have gone back to play Demons to see what it's all about. I read a rumor that Sony is make Demons Souls 2 for PS4, but it's just a rumor. And actually I love the zombie genre, but at the time, I wasn't feeling it. I'm sure Naughty Dog made a good game.
