But you're offended in principle. Take that, Bungie!

I don't know. I stopped once I got to the part where I'd need to team up with people lol
It's a freaking FPS and I don't see any reason why they can't. Screw MMO conventions.
Ah, Dragon's Lair. We got this when we got a new computer with a CD-ROM drive. And a color monitor! Of course, this was, like, ten years after the arcade game came out but we didn't know and were still blown away. Having to retry so much could be frustrating but like you said, the animation never got old. Space Ace was fun too but Dragon's Lair definitely had more charm. Gotta love all those crazy deaths!
I see Cary beat me to mentioning Drill Dozer. Pokémon is great and all but I wish Game Freak had time to branch out more and make original, one-off games. HarmoKnight for the 3DS is really good too (it's a Game Freak rhythm game). Pulseman sounds really cool. Too bad it never got a physical release over here.
I've already picked up the next couple trades from the library. I haven't even been able to finish the introduction on the second volume yet, though, because I keep getting interrupted. Dang it, life, leave me alone!
That's the ticket! Offload, er, I mean delegate your responsibilities to others to free yourself up for more important things. That's what responsible adults do, right?
My condolences on your loss. A good system can be like a dear friend. Well, perhaps like some sort of cybernetic shell that temporarily houses our dear friends, which makes it sound a lot creepier. You said your PS3 was phat, so maybe it was heart disease? I don't know if that's common in PS3s. Did you use it more for junk food games or more meaty experiences? I'm not even sure what qualifies as a fruit or veggie experience. Whole grain gaming? Nevermind, it's in the past now. I assume you still have a PS2 sitting around? Even the newest PS3s still play PS1 games, I think, so you'd just lose some consolidation space if you bought a new model. That would give you better peace of mind, I imagine. But should you upgrade to a PS4? That's a tough call. If you really want to play Destiny, then yeah, I'd say you should take the plunge. If it's not a game you think you'll really become engrossed in, then maybe stick with the PS3. I dunno. If you do upgrade, maybe you can get a deal on a new PS3 come Black Friday. But I'd go with a new model of that whenever you do get another.
I'm not a fan of incremental hardware upgrades. It can be difficult to come up with the necessary chunk of change all at once for yet another system, and I really like my 3DS XL. If something N3DS-exclusive comes out that I really want to play, then I'll try to upgrade but otherwise I'll just stay on the fence.
I never liked Xevious. When I play a shmup, I want to blow everything up with my big main guns. I hate having to fire off bombs to hit the ground targets. So it's not just Xevious. But I'm surprised the story was so involved, and cool-sounding too!
