3. In Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic's final boss battle you can hold L, R, and Y at the same time on a second controller to turn the villain into a Twilek dancer and dance with her to skip the fight.

2. In Jade Empire you meet a British colonialist asshole using a bunch of made up words. When calling him out on one of those words, he will claim that it is "cromulent," a word meaning valid which was made up by The Simpsons. 

1. The first Five Nights at Freddy's has a newspaper that keeps changing, sometimes it will talk about how children were murdered in the pizzeria, other times it will be how the animatronics had blood and mucus around their eyes and had a foul odor, implying that the killer hid the dead bodies inside the animatronics. That made me a fan of FNAF despite not liking the gameplay at all.

I never got far in the original Metroid. I played it first after unlocking it for beating Zero Mission and after finishing a game as fun and polished as Zero Mission it felt almost unplayable. It's my least favorite in the series, even behind Metroid 2, Hunters, Federation Force, and Other M.

I definitely agree on both of those counts, especially the memory cards. Switch supporting up to 2TB micro SD I think will really help them in the long term (though hopefully big ones are more affordable sooner rather than later)

I agree on Vita's gimmicks too for the most part. But Tearaway was built on gimmicks and the best game on that platform. Also thought Uncharted's canoe bit was great where you swiped with the back pad while still aiming like a normal shooter.

Oh by no means do I think this would be a Switch level success and absolutely agree that Nintendo's franchises lend themselves better to the handheld market. But I feel that this idea would fit well into where the console market is going. You can get the big beefy console that does 4K at 60 FPS or the tablet you can take anywhere, with the second only losing out on the biggest AAA games (which are becoming less and less appealing each year TBH).

Also in terms of Doom and Skyrim, I would agree that they complement Mario and Zelda, but I think they also are good enough fits for a handheld that games like them could sell themselves on a non-Nintendo platform. Games like Uncharted which are cutscene heavy or Destiny which need online would not be a good fit, but single player games with few cutscenes I think would be a great fit. 

Breath of the Wild was my favorite game since Mass Effect 2. I was in high school when that game came out. Feel it reignited my love of games actually. Sometime around 2014 or 2015 working out and running usurped gaming as my favorite hobby. Breath had me skip more than a few days in a row and now I just prioritize the other two because they're good for me. 

Shame about Puzzle Fighter, feel that game would be awesome to kill a few minutes.

Just Cause 2 was a ton of fun for me. Don't remember a single thing about the story missions, but man that grappling hook was great. Tomb Raider I wasn't a fan of. Just felt kind of by the numbers. Rise was a huge improvement IMO, more tombs and survival mode was a great addition.

Dead Space is a game I respect more than I used to but still didn't find it all that great. It was in a weird limbo of action and horror even though it wasn't scary and not as well designed action wise as something like Resident Evil 4. 2 was a lot better for me, but The Evil Within 2 was closer to what I wanted from Dead Space.

I'd recommend X and XII then. X is a regular turn based combat system though pretty unique since it's based around swapping party members in and out. XII is active, but has a way to pause and pick commands for your characters then resume. Also gambits are awesome.

VI is fine, but the PS2 FF games are probably my favorites. Like their combat the most. VI has much better characters though

Then you'd love FFXII. That's the combats backbone
