Kung Fu Review

Posted on 08/12/2020 at 08:02 AM | Filed Under Review

I never really got into this game but there's no denying its popularity.  I saw it everywhere in arcades.  Even grocery stores had it.  I think it's interesting that it's based off a movie in Japan and there was a NES sequel and Game Boy spinoff.  Also a spiritual sequel in the arcades called Vigilante I think.

That's the first thing I would do is find the other player to see what they look like.

And what's with every game having to have a mine cart level?  Nobody likes those either!

And Moto Roader isn't very Moto either.  Wait that didn't make any sense!

Can't wait to read it.  I was never a big fan of Kung Fu Master, but it sure was popular back then!

I wonder if the TG-16 Mini will be hard to find?

I can just see two people playing that, "Hey, where are you in the maze?"  "I don't know, where are you?"

Multiplayer sounds like it could be a disaster in that kind of game!

I don't think I've liked any first person dungeon crawling game.  That's what turned me off of the first Phantasy Star.

More like Mario Kart: Meh Circuit

So I'm probably the weird one here, but Super Mario Kart on the SNES is my favorite Mario Kart game.  It's also one of my top five favorite games of all time.  So since Mario Kart Super Circuit looks closest to SNES Mario Kart, it's my second favorite Mario Kart game!  It feels more like a SNES sequel and I love how all the tracks from the SNES game are unlockable in the GBA one, too!
