Fucking Fuck! I dont want to play this now.
Fucking Fuck! I dont want to play this now.
I just wanted to complete the series. There is another game that plays like Diablo for Vita which I might get into later.
I think people complained about similar issues with Zelda on Wii, controls not working. All you really do is walk around and tinker with the environment and use your flashlight alot. I don't know about the running bits. I would imagine hating the running bits with motion controls. I still hated the running bits on PSP so there is that.
I didn't have a problem with the PSP version. I didn't like the action parts and there are no weapons or combat, just running through mazes. I think the Wii version would enhance exploring with the flashlight and the cellphone parts of the game, but I would imaging the running bits would be difficult with waggle.
Well you sure are a happy kid in your blogs. Never change man! Never change!
What you should know about X-Men is that after the events of Avengers vs X-Men last summer the core X team has been divided.
Uncanny X-Men
Cyclops is the new leader of the Brotherhood of Mutants and runs an new mutant school with Magneto. He is sort of evil now, after killing Xavier (oops!), which is wierd but I think Cyclops is more interesting now and has a rad new red suit. He is more anti-human now that Charles isn't around to guide him. You can read the Uncanny X-Men series seperately to see whats going down with them.
All New X-Men
In this series, the original X team is brought into the present, via time travel lol, to try to bring the divided group back together again. This takes place in the Xavier Mansion which is now run by Wolverine and Kitty Pride, and together with the old team, the team is sort of united again. You can read this series seperate from the others. They often fight with Cyclops team.
Uncanny Avengers
After the aftermath of A vs X, Wolverine and Havok, along with Thor and others create a new team to show mutants and humans can work together, err super humans lol. It is also a good series and a favorite of mine. Also, it can be read seperate from others.
Wolverine and the X-Men
This series is also really popular. If you can't get enough of Wolverine, then read on.
Amazing X-Men
Nightcrawler is back. Enough said.
Dont worry about numbers man! Just find the story and characters you like and stick with it. I love that they brought back the original X-Team and the writers have a lot fun with the teenage X-Men.
My favorite must reads currently are
Batman (New 52) by Scott Sneider and Greg Capullo
All New X-Men by Bendis
Hawkeye
Saga
I don't think SH3 is a bad game, but was just comparing stories and that one had a lot of stuff about religion and god n stuff. I've read the synopsis for the newer games like Downpour and Im interested in playing those too!
This is interesting JoeStep, because even though you haven't played the game, you took away from a demo the creepiness which is still there as whatsacow says. It is the creepiest of the 3 games 1, 2 and 3. Towards the end the walls look like they are bleeding and there is a pulse sound supposed to represent inside of a womb and rebirth. Disturbing.
Yeah. You might be right. I was replaying for the purpose of story analysis and not so much for scares-- wanted to refresh the story. I think with the first two games, the back story of the town wasn't really dealt with, it was just about this wierd cult and you just wanted to get the hell out of there-- Dad wanting to save Daughter, Husband trying to save wife. SH3 I think explained too much about the cult and religion and the goddess or whatever and I was kind of rolling my eyes. Visually the world in SH3 is more disturbing for sure, (dog served up for dinner?). SH2 was a bit empty actually.
Also, SH3 wasn't broken up by exploring, you were constantly searching for the next item to move on while avoiding enemies in the dark and kept a constant feeling of anxiety throughout, very good. In this sense SH3 is more like modern survival horror where the tension and anxiety is always high. But because the game just explained everything there wasn't much of a need to dig deeper into things like SH2 or SH1.
