I think I'll watch, Fading of the Cries, with my friends on our next movie night.

I actually dislike almost every characters in Breaking Bad.

I like many of Joss Whedon's shows too.  My favorite is Firefly.

I've been reading Retro Gamer for years.  It's a great retro gaming mag.  I would like to see Retro Magazine come out and see what they do different.  The more video game mags out there the better.  I may donate too.

I usually watch what my wife watches, so lately it's a lot of Breaking Bad and Buffy the Vampire Slayer (which is strangely addicting). Laughing

Do We Really Need Everything In HD?

I'll buy the hd remake collections when I don't own the games already and if there are improvements to the game besides it being hd (which doesn't happen often enough), or I'll buy hd versions if I find them real cheap.

I don't know if you've seen this already, but it's a AVGN vid and he goes over a few porn games on the 2600.  He covers Custer's Revenge first and then some others.

I still think these games are funny, though.

I'm not an overly p.c. person, so I don't find this game that offensive.  I wonder what was going through the developers' minds when they made this game though.  I'd be surprised if they were actually women hating racist.  People always say the girl in the game is being raped, but where does it say that in the game?  Was it in the manual or written on the box?  I remember when I first saw this game.  I just thought the guy was dodging arrows to get to the girl and save her, like any other game, but instead of them running off together, they have sex right there on the battlefield.  Mystique made a few pornographic games and this one is no different.  Others were a bit worse.  The whole point of their games was to have sex.  Their fault was making the girl a Native American and not taking the time to untie her first, though she's not tied up in the game.  She's just waiting there and I'm assuming for him.  I mean, think about it... Why in hell would the "Indians" tie their own girl to a pole (as bait) so that this guy, "Custer", has to dodge arrows to "rescue" her.  The whole thing is ridiculous.  I watch clips of this game and I laugh.  I can understand why people were upset about it years ago, but I find it too stupid to take seriously now.  Laughing

PS2 Doesn't Live Here Anymore.

Get'em while you can.  The problem with the coming of the next gen games is that some of the games older than the current gen can go up in price.  All of a sudden some of those old games that everyone has or no one wants aren't old anymore, they're "vintage", or in the worse cases, "rare".  Sites like ebay, amazon, etc. can help drive these prices up.  Some greedy bastard thinks they found gold because they have a game that was popular, so they put a ridiculous price for the game up on ebay.  Other sellers of the same game see this and think they have gold, so they raise their prices.  A nice example of this is Final Fantasy VII (PS).  This game sold millions around the world and people still want to charge $30 or more for it.  The sad thing is that many people pay it.  I guess you can't put on price on something you really want. Undecided  Another example is The Legend of Zelda (NES).  Millions of these games were sold and if you check out ebay, there's a "sealed" copy of the game going for $1300!!  RIDICULOUS!! Laughing  As many as those games that are floating around in the world, all loose carts should be under $3.
