Yeah I knew about that, but Reese's Pieces are still not that great.

I don't remember playing the E.T. game when it came out, but then, I didn't have an Atari 2600 until much later. And even if I did, I probably wouldn't have gotten this game. Mainly because I actually didn't like the E.T. movie that much. It was too long and drawn out and E.T. looked ugly like a rotisserie chicken and not huggable and cute like Gizmo or ALF. Plus I was mad that they hyped up Reese's Pieces for the movie, and when I FINALLY got to taste them, I was very disappointed. Peanut Butter M&Ms are what Reese's Pieces should've been.
Once I did play E.T., I had no idea what I was doing, but once you read the instructions it becomes a little more clear. But even then it wasn't much more fun. Atari 2600 games were mostly pick up and play kind of affairs, so the ones that you had to read the instructions to really know what to do were kind of rare and most were not worth playing.
There is one Atari 2600 game that is complicated enough that you have to read the instructions, but it's defintely worth it. The game is called Pressure Cooker and it's by Activision and it's my favorite 2600 game. I highly recommend you play it if you get a chance.
Honestly I don't remember the crash either. I just remember getting a lot of games for my Atari 5200 really cheap.
I know all too well how it can be when friends get into relationships and don't have time for you anymore. But I hope you don't give up on gaming. I like reading your blogs about it.
The last two episodes of High Score weren't as interesting to me. The fifth episode is about fighting games like Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat, and how that game and NIght Trap spawned the first big video game violence controversy. The last episode is about 3-D gaming, featuring titles like Doom and Star Fox. I'll probably write a blog about the episodes later this month.
Right now, though, I just posted a new review blog and you'd better go read it if you know what's good for you! If you don't read it, I'll send Chun-Li over to your house and she'll eat some spinach and roll you up into a basketball and dribble you around the house! So there! :)
I've never been into wrestling but I did meet a WWE star at E3 once. I can't remember her name, but I THINk her first name was like Tracy or Stacy or Lacy or something. I want to say her last name was Keebler but I doubt she was named after elves who make cookies in a hollow tree. To me she looked more like a model rather than a wrestler, but I'm pretty clueless about wrestling so what do I know? My friends were jealous that I got to meet her, though. Maybe you can pick out a favorite wrestler or two for me.
I got Okage on sale for 20 bucks after it had been out for a while on the PS2. I lost interest in it, though. I just can't get into most RPGs like I used to back on the SNES.
Although I was really into FF9. Best FF game on the PSOne, and is what 7 and 8 should've been. It's also the last FF game I really got into.
Yeah it seems like a lot of trouble. I just like to pop in a game and play.
Maybe if I could figure out how to stream stuff, I would. That is, if I had time. Plus I doubt anyone would want to watch me play a game.
Never played a Grandia game.
Klonoa 2 is a fantastic PS2 game, one of the best on the console. It's not very hard either, so you should be able to beat it or at least get far. I still like the original Klonoa on PSOne better, though. I highly recommend you play that one if you can. The original Klonoa game actually has one of the saddest endings in video games I've ever seen!
Aside from playing Animal Crossing and Paper Mario as usual, I'm working on reviewing Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time.
