Have you ever played any of the other Battletoads games? LIke the one on the NES? is it as hard as that one? I always enjoyed the Battletoads arcade game, what little I've played of it.
You'd be in trouble if you ever got Animal Crossing. :)
I've never gotten into these games, but I'm familiar with things in the RE games. Such as characters like Jill Valentine. I'm aware of the silly quotes like, "You almost became a Jill Sandwich," so I have a bad habit of calling her Jill Sandwich.
I'm more familiar with the Dead Rising games because my brother Jeff played them a lot for a while and they're more sillier than Resident Evil. I would always make Jeff do silly things in those games like make him wear a Servebot head at all times and such. Made for some laughs in the more serious cutscenes. Oh yeah, and one of the restaurants in the food court in the mall in the first Dead Rising game is called "Jill's Sandwiches."
One time I had a dream that Jill Valentine and I were on a picnic. Not sure WHY, but that's what happened. Then some zombies came but they were so slow and couldn't even get up the hill to the picnic spot because they kept stumbling over themselves. I wasn't worried, but Jill was scared that the zombies would get us, so she started cramming all the picnic food into her mouth. The sight of her eating all the food and getting a little belly from eating so fast made me laugh and it actually woke me up because I was laughing in real life in my sleep!
The DS Card Fighters game isn't that good. Three reasons:
1. In the first game, you could just use cards whenever you wanted. In the DS game, they added energy cards so you must have enough of those to use your other cards. I didn't like that.
2. In the NGPC game, you could visit towns and other places to battle others in the main story mode, but in the DS game, you're just climbing a tower.
3. And this is the big one. There is a game breaking bug that keeps you from progressing, and there's no way to avoid it on the DS game.
My favorite card based battle game was SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash on the NEO GEO Pocket Color. I liked it even more than Pokemon!
Just keep in mind that the portable versions are from like, 1999, when portable gaming was a lot different. If you have to just play one, though, I recommend Gals Fighters. I really liked the NEO GEO Pocket Color. For a while I even liked it more than the Game Boy Color!
I went to a Dallas Stars game once. Since I'm not familar with all the rules of hockey it was hard for me to follow, though.
I have Vesperia on the 360, but I never beat it. Again, today's RPGs are just too long and drawn out. My favorite characters in Vesperia were the doggy and Judith. But my favorite Tales game is still Legendia!
I really liked the Xbox 360. It had a wide variety of games on it. I played my 360 probably more than the Wii!
You weren't kidding about the NXT female wrestlers looking strong. Wow!
Just keep in mind that the fighting games I reviewed are just ports of portable fighters from 20 years ago, so it's not that big of a deal.
