I don't have much time for tv shows, not if I want to play games too. I really like Firefly, though that certainly isn't science-heavy. But funny you mention Ghost in the Shell. My wife and I are watching Stand Alone Complex: 2nd Gig right now (I've seen it before, she hasn't). I love Ghost in the Shell.
I have a horrible backlog of RPGs. I buy them because I know they're good but then I never play them because I know they're long. Xenoblade Chronicles and Persona 3 are two of the big monkeys sitting on my back that I'd like to get around to playing soon 
Working my way through Final Fantasy II right now.
I'm not sure what to think of the possibility of a live-action Zelda series, but at least Netflix has a decent track record with its original shows. That gives me some comfort.
We ordered a PS4 and it just arrived today! I plan to get this game but haven't yet. I played some Resogun, though, and that was pretty cool.
I've never listened to the BlazBlue soundtrack but it must be good
