Thanksgiving weekend recap

It is fun, but be aware that although you can play by yourself, you won't survive very long. Read Chessa's review before you buy it. I didn't think it was as bad as she did, but she does cover the issues the game has very well. When I bought it, it was so I could play something that wasn't an FPS with my now 18 year old cousin. We had fun with it, but both quickly realized that it was not a game meant for a single player campaign.

Sounds like you kept yourself busy, Cary. But was it fun?

It's good to have some co-op games, gives me that warm, nostalgic feeling from when I was in my early 20s and my brother and I used to go back to his place after Sunday dinner with our dad and game together.

When I do that, I usually copy and paste into the appropriate spot and then delete the original :)

Not at all OCD... Not me.

Kept my wallet shut. Money's tight these days. But I did have a lot of fun playing coop with a friend Saturday night.

Obviously, i would have preferred a Patriots win, but hey, best record in the AFC East is also ok by me.

Hmm...I decided to shelve a second play-through of Stick of Truth, maybe I'll pick up Lego Batman again instead.

Yay! Happy days! Glad you came to a middle ground with your wife about things and that the fates rewarded you.

Oh, that shot of Brady was hilarious. He takes every loss personally. What shocked me was Gostowski missing that field goal. And not by a small margin, either.

Overhyped - the first Assassin's Creed game. It was beautiful, and had so much potential and was such a letdown. Missions were repetitive and became more chore than fun. They fixed a lot in the second one, but I really liked the setting in the first one.

Underhyped - Beyond Good and Evil when it first came out, Lost Odyssey, Psychnauts, and probably several more I can't think of at the moment.

Congrats on your Packers beating my Patriots. That was a well-deserved win on their part.
