I've never heard of Men's Rights Movement. For the sake of this blog thread, I googled it and went to the most recent article about it. A Time Magazine story which covered one of the MRM conferences in Detroit, and the conference is full of so much stupid.
That this actually happened at the conference was enough for me...
When the conference’s M.C., Robert O’Hara, asked a woman in the audience a question and she responded with a no, he quickly shot back “Doesn’t no mean yes?” The audience burst into laughter.
I agree with whatever whatasacow says.

Honestly, I will have to camp out and do a second playthrough of the starting town just to level up, because without a guild, this game is just a nightmare. If you're on let me know. I really would like to finish this game, it's that good! I don't mind grinding, cuz I'm grinding the beginning area anyway. Right now I'm playing Star Wars The Old Republic Onlince because it's a Double XP week, and Sith agent is totally rad story!!
Actually, I think games were made more challenging for one, arcades- to keep you feeding machines with quarters/tokens, and two, physical game rentals during the Blockbuster video era to keep you renting those games forever.
Anyhow, games like Dark Souls can be made easier with particular builds, and you can overpower your character and cheese many of he bosses. If anything the 'Souls' games teach patience, or impatience depending on the gamer. I was suprised at how far I got in Demon Souls without the help of any guide, since I tend to be a cautious gamer.
Some games I think are hard...
The Secret World-- hard as fuck!
Ninja Gaiden XBox-- hard as fuck!
Devil May Cry 3 - hard as fuck!
Souls games - hard as fuck!
Super Luigi U - hard as fuck!
I would say the story is very much worth the work. Just like many other RPGs, it would benefit to read up on how the game mechanics/magic/alchemy system work if it will help you get through. I'll admit, I used a few guides here and there. It was still pretty great!
To be perfectly honest, I absolutely hated the combat when I first played the game. I didn't understand the dual sword system or potions so I was learning the game system while getting my ass kicked at the same time. After playing Dark Souls and Monster Hunter, games that require a lot of patience, in my opinion, I felt like I can take on any game, and back into Witcher 2 I went. It's one of those games where I had to come back to it a second time and then the second time everything clicked.
So, for starters, what I loved about the game was that Dragon Age Origins/Game of Thrones mature narrative, characters, twists and turns. It really is the true sequel to Dragon Age Origins. I really love this game world enough that I was looking at the novels that inspired the game and enjoy them too.
Secondly, the design of the world is gorgeous, and I just loved the soundtrack. I'm a sucker for graphics. What can I say? I played on PC with graphics set to high, and I think X360 looks fine as well.
Thirdly, the combat. The thing about this game is that, unlike the 'Souls' games that emphasize 'defence' , Witcher 2 pushes you forward into melee, and thus you MUST always fight. I usually lilke a ranged character in RPGs, and shoot from safety so this game put me out of this comfort zone, but I just used the 'Shield/Protect' spell for extra defence and made some 'Swallow' potion which regenerates health and I was fine. Also keep rollin, rollin, rollin!!!
"...but I could never get into MMOs."
*covers ears incredulously
Yup! We pretty much have the same taste in games, except I like the occasional MMO or wierd Indie game. I like a lot of Nintendos games. I <3 WiiU.
I would probably add
Transistor (Steam)
Dark Souls 2 (PC)
I ususally defend Nintendo on the "Next Gen" argument, but I honestly don't think most 3rd party games ever look as good as their counterparts on PS4 or XBox One. Nintendo makes gorgeous 1st party games, so I guess it's Nintendos Next Gen, or whatever. I love Wii U, so this argument is dumb.
