The DS was kind of sudden for me. The GBA was barely 3 years old and Nintendo didn't seem to know what to do with the DS at the time. I got the OG fat DS with a demo cartridge of Metroid Prime Hunters as my 2005 birthday present. It turned out to be quite a nice system. Now I have a Zelda 3DS with all my DS games still playable. My favorite DS games are the Dragon Quest games.
It is an "official" supported PSP game which can be directly downloaded onto the PSTV from the PlayStation Store on PSTV, as are Ys Seven and Ys 1 and 2. And Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky. Sadly, the made-for-Vita Ys: Memories of Celceta isn't supported despite rumors that it might be patched for PSTV.
I'm enjoying it so far, with ToHR and Persona 4. I gotta admit, that most of the games I want for Vita are compatible with the thing. I wish Ys and Gravity Rush were, but isn't Gravity Rush 2 coming to PS4 anyway?
Thirded on this one. PS4 did come out with a couple of good games toward the end of the year (Guilty Gear Xrd, and I'm going to give Dragon Age: Inquisition a shot, since I liked the first on okay on 360). The next year looks good on PS4, but this year, Wii U and 3DS got most of my attention. Even PS3 and Vita did more for me overall than the PS4/Xbone twins.
Dang, I'm jelly. I'd like Wind Rises on Blu-Ray. I also want Ranma 1/2 on Blu-Ray.

Meh, I don't really give fuck-all about most "triple A" games out there, so broken Ubisoft games are meaningless to me because I don't play the unbroken ones. This year wasn't as great as last year, no, but I wasn't as disappointed by it as other people seem to be. I kept myself entertained.
This is on PS4, is it not? I'm really tempted by this one and by Tears to Tiara II.
