Pretty cool. I love when companies don't take themselves too seriously (you know, unlike Konami today). This sounds like a great little game that holds up well 22 years later (yikes!).
More than once I've pulled out my phone to check backloggery and saved myself from duplicate purchases lol.
This one always gets overshadowed by its sequel but it sounds like that's a shame. Speaking of which, do you plan to play the sequel? It regularly sells for over $100 on the after market. It's on PSN at a reasonable price but I know you don't have any PlayStation products newer than the PS1 lol.
I heard that Tropical Freeze is the first major soundtrack he's written in 11 years. Rare was wasting that man's talent! But I think he's a freelancer now. I certainly hope to hear more from him!

Nah, don't worry, Alex. Though I keep telling myself that I'm going to play one of these Pokémon games (and I will!), it's more of my wife's thing. I played the heck out of Red back in the day but haven't touched one since. But I will! Sometime...

Revengeance puts me in a difficult spot because I do want to play the mainline MGS games, so I'm wondering if I should wait till after I've play MGS4...and that could be quite a while, especially since I don't yet own those games lol. But for $5 I just could not pass it up, even though I'm not hurting for that type of character action game (Bayonetta 1 and 2, Devil May Cry 3, DmC, and Ninja Gaiden Sigma all come to mind).
And you won't be disappointed!
I hope Super Mario 3D World is high on that list too...
