It would make for a nice break from Sandman. They're very different. Also, 1602 is one volume (Gaiman's work at least) whereas Sandman is 10+. I need to get back to reading Sandman though. I've gotten through only the first four volumes.

I love the visual representation of Dare Devil's power. Cool stuff. I wish Gaiman had come back to write more than this one story arc. He's really good.
He is awesome! I've only read a couple of his books, Neverwhere being my favorite so far, but I have several more waiting for my attention. American Gods is at the top of that list. Just need the time...
1602 and Sandman are so very different that you can't really compare them, though everyone will probably prefer one over the other. I think I like 1602 a little better as well. It was just a lot of fun to read. That's not a slight on Sandman, of course. I've only read the first four volumes of that anyway. Lot to go still. But yeah, 1602. Good stuff.
Once you have the money I definitely recommend buying it. It's a keeper.
Cool beans. We have a really hard time keeping up with things but I'd like to watch this too.
For a moment I thought you must have bought a Game Gear but then I became suspicious and sure enough, 3DS Virtual Console. Cool that they make that stuff available. I liked the Sonic games on GBA (I played the first one) but not the DS. Too many bottomless pits for my taste. This one sound like a fun diversion though.
I can't speak to the post-Gaiman 1602 comics (e.g., Spider-Man) but that initial run is very good.
It looks like Ghost Trick and 999 are still available for reasonable prices on Amazon. You should snag them while that is still the case. And yeah, 999 is really good
Pull the trigger, man! It's a good one
One of the things I didn't like about Demon's Souls was the slow, deliberate combat. The speedier pace of Bloodborne really intrigues me.
