I'm surprised the game doesn't have any DLC features. If any game could use DLC it's this one. Extra characters, karts, tracks, etc.
Because that hair!
I think you can access the DLC if you beat the Gultch boss. That's where the entrance is. You get transported to another world or realm or something. The area is pretty tough. As long as you keep your saves it's all good I think you can continue when you get your game back.
LOL! I understand all of this! I want to get better at online! But, I want to finish the circuits first!
I only ever played the demo, and really liked it. I like Silent Hill, especially it's dark themes and visual design. I remember this being a bit like Diablo. I can't think of another game to compare it too. It is grindy, but so what. Lots of games are grindy and still good. If you really like the game then ignore the negative comments, and you will enjoy it a lot more.
I wish I owned the full game. Good luck on forming your game night!
I'm like you then. I'm just replaying all the circuits over and over to get gold! It's like the original xbox acheivments. I even like the way coins are valuable to get in the races to unlock karts and things. I'm trying to gold star all the tracks in 50cc I think, or whatever the first levels are.
Mario Kart Wii tracks were too wide, and the game was too easy. This is somewhere in between a casual game for newbies and hard for veterans. All good!
I actually like the online with randoms too. I like using the Miis!
Probably try out the DS2 DLC: Sunken King. Star Trek Online, and finish up on ZombiU on WiiU again. How is Dragon Age coming along?
I don't play 14 at the moment because of the sub. If not for that, I'd be playing that right now. I get MMOs arent for everyone. I occasionally jump back into LOTRO and The Secret World. I don't mind soloing.
At certain points along the game you get a chance to recruit characters, but you have to do things in a certain order for them to join. As for skills, my skills weren't developed properly. Either way, I wasn't able to recruit many of these characters or didn't level my skills right, so I got screwed. I didn't even know about these extra characters until I read guides. There is no way to level grind outside of missions, so if you spec wrong, the game will destroy you. Again, coming from the village idiot here. LOL! I wouldn't take advice from me. I think I ended up using a mage with very strong Ice AoE spells that would just freeze entire rooms, slowing enemies down enough to cut 'em down. That or a fire type mage that would bomb out entire rooms for me. Cheater, I know!
