Like you, I'd always wanted to play Uncharted 2 but couldn't bring myself to skip the first game. I actually like the story of the first game a little better but the second one definitely improves every bit about the gameplay and level design. It's great! I still need to play the third one though.
Btw, I didn't see a blog about your intended game playlist. What's your plan?
The Mario Galaxy games are so good. I hope you like it. I assume you wrote a blog about this playlist. Must've missed it. I'll go back and check. Sounds like a good idea though.
That's frustrating. Bosses should never be again to heal all the way in one turn. That sucks.

After writing this blog I saw that US Gamer said Never Alone is a pretty good game, so your recommendation makes two.

Have you played Venetica? It always looked to me like one of those B-tier games not worth bothering with but I don't really know 
Those are the two I tried to read when I first got into Batman comics and was totally lost! O_O I need to read the Morrison run in order.
I read the Night of the Owls trade last year, which collects the stories from all the different Batman lines that occur during a large centralized event. I didn't like the Batman Incorporated story. Maybe it's better when read as a series
Tower of Guns does look pretty cool. Guess I should give it a try. I just wish it was co-op.
I played Shovel Knight earlier this year and just loved it. That soundtrack by Jake Kaufman is so good! I need to go buy that somewhere so I can listen to it anytime.
