The promise of a more arcade-esque experience really interests me.

I really should just play it. I haven't played an MGS game since The Twin Snakes for the GameCube...which is the only one I've ever played...
Nier 2...and it's being developed by Platinum?? The biggest complaint I heard about the first game was the actual gameplay, so hopefully this one will turn out a lot better.
Hmm, maybe the swearing doesn't help...? Glad to have you back, though I wish things were better for you. I do think the internet has a lot to do with a premature "loss of innocence." All the ugliness of life and people is right there for anyone to discover. But whatever. I saw in earlier comments that you'll be contributing to the site more, maybe in an official capacity. Looking forward to it.
Pretty cool. I love when companies don't take themselves too seriously (you know, unlike Konami today). This sounds like a great little game that holds up well 22 years later (yikes!).
More than once I've pulled out my phone to check backloggery and saved myself from duplicate purchases lol.
This one always gets overshadowed by its sequel but it sounds like that's a shame. Speaking of which, do you plan to play the sequel? It regularly sells for over $100 on the after market. It's on PSN at a reasonable price but I know you don't have any PlayStation products newer than the PS1 lol.
I heard that Tropical Freeze is the first major soundtrack he's written in 11 years. Rare was wasting that man's talent! But I think he's a freelancer now. I certainly hope to hear more from him!
My fun! It's ruined! Nooooooo!
Nah, don't worry, Alex. Though I keep telling myself that I'm going to play one of these Pokémon games (and I will!), it's more of my wife's thing. I played the heck out of Red back in the day but haven't touched one since. But I will! Sometime...
I think you'd like Monster Tale, Cary. It's very cute
