The Genesis was the first console I ever owned. My downsatirs neighbors had one and they'd invite me down to play every so often. I was working second shit in the warehouse at LL Bean at the time, and there was nothing on TV after I'd get home from work and all my friends were asleep, so I got the Genesis to give me something to do to wind down after work. I still have that console, and it still works. I also have most of my carts (some mysteriously vanished, we had a house guest with a drug problem and I think they may have pawned a bunch of my games for drug money).

I am intrigued. Can't afford it right now, but I'm still intrigued.

Nothing wrong with playing a game you enjoy. Gaming is supposed to be fun, and feeling guilty for playing one game over another is kinda silly, in my opinion. If playing Destiny makes you happy, why stop?

I think I paid $30 for mine off Amazon. It's not the greatest quality, but I haven't had a problem with it yet.

Just another day in a northern New England winter. I got the freezing issue with the hot water pipes figured out - I know where the problem was and I think I have a solution to prevent it happening again. At least I hope so...

Chris, that was just in the last week. Snowiest seven day stretch on record for the city of Portland (the original , not the one on Oregon). And I will admit to being effing sick of shoveling. I wish the paths would do themselves so all i have to do is play. And another storm on the way tomorrow. Oh, joy, more shoveling.

Wow that's cheap rent. My boyfriend is paying $650 a month for a one room unit without a real kitchen.

Jason promised me a PS4 if he ever wins the lottery. I ain't holding my breath...

I hate to admit this, but I never could quite figure out just what the heck I was supposed to be doing in Unfinished Swan and it sits unplayed on my hard drive.
