LOL! This is the best idea for the series yet! 
My favorite thing about the MGS games is simply shooting people in the back of the head with tranquilizer darts. It never gets old. I didn't mind all the ultra long cut scenes in MGS4. I thought that game was great. The only thing was that I fell asleep during the ending lol. It was so long, and I was tired from having worked all day.
PS. I knew GH would pay you a visit on this blog lol.
The PSP is a great system. I don't have too many games for it, but I have a couple on your list. Loved Half Minute Hero. I wish they would make a sequel for that. I'm playing Tactics Ogre right now. It's a really slow process lol.
Out of sheer curiosity, what are the specs on your pc? I tried looking it up, but all I got was a bunch of spam sites.
I bought a ps1 for FF7. After being blown away by FF6 I couldn't wait to see the next installment. I wasn't disappointed. We played the Crash games obsessively. I agree about CTR. That game is fantastic. I find Mario Kart games boring. Although Mario Kart 64 is one of my favorite kart racers.
Hey Dustin. I downloaded MULE. Sounds like an interesting game. I am not big on RTS games, but I like some of them. We played the crap out of Warcraft 3. I remember seeing this game on 1up's 100 essentials. I read one of Heinlen's books... but I can't for the life of me remember which one it was. 
I never could get into this series or understand why people like it. The first game bored me to tears. I hear the second is the best, but honestly don't ever want to revisit it again lol. 
I still have yet to play the ICO games. I've heard so many great things about them that I hope to get that collection. I agree with remaking everything in HD. I'd like to see some NES and SNES games remade lol.
