Adventures In Vaccines

Yeah it's open to everyone in Texas, but I think you have to sign up in the county where you live.  Another challenge for me will be getting there since I can't drive.  I'll get the vaccine eventually, just have to be patient.

I guess that's not the case in Texas.

If you make those Pokemon cookies, don't eat them all at once or you'll be sick as a dog!

BodyQuest is a good educational game for kids.  Space Otter Charlie is one of the better games in this batch of reviews.

There's a female Thor?  I don't remember that in any of the movies.  Although there was one Valkyrie lady in one of the Thor movies who was kind of cool and strong (but also grumpy).  That wouldn't be it, would it?

I learned about MODOK from Marvel vs. Capcom 3.  That game series is where most of my Marvel knowledge comes from.  He's a playable fighter in that one.  In that same game I also learned about She-Hulk.  I decided she would be my favorite Marvel character even though I don't have a good reason why.

I played the original SaGa Frontier on PSOne.  That game was a hot mess.

I signed up for the vaccine in my county at the first of this month.  I got an email a few days ago that said I'm around 464,000 on the list.  Sooooo...it may be a while before I can get mine.  Would be nice to get it sooner, since I work in retail and all.

Dark Void

Like I said earlier, I only know about Dark Void Zero, a DSiWare game that was used to promote the main title.  It looked, sounded, and played like a NES game, which wasn't as commonplace back then.  Capcom even made some joke mock videos that this was a long lost PlayChoice 10 game, since it used both screens.  But I didn't buy that because there was never any dedicated PlayChoice 10 games, they were all NES games and the second screen was just used for menus and instructions.  Anyway, Dark Void Zero really feels like a Capcom NES game.  It's really hard, too.  I couldn't get past the second level.  Granted, there are only three levels but they are huge.  If this were a NES game, I definitely would've at least rented it back in the day.  I actually have better memories playing Capcom NES gamse than Nintendo made ones.

Ys 8 is a good choice.  My brother called it "Jurassic Park: The JRPG."

In that Star Renegades game, the "valkyrie heavy fighting woman with swords and armor" sounds cool!

I loved Phogs!  It came out late last year, and had I had a chance to play it then, it would've gotten on my GOTY list.  I did review it earlier this year.  Anyway, a couple of things.  First, to stretch your dog abomination out longer, hold down the R trigger button, at least on the PS4.  And two, this is actually NOT a Japanese game, even though it looks like it.  The game was actually made in the UK!  Anyway, here's my review:

Dark Void was  flop for Capcom, but they made a 2-D 8-bit version on DSiWare that was actually pretty good called Dark Void Zero.

Retro Review: Zoop

I remember reading about this game a lot and seeing ads and such, but I never played it.  I would've liked to have rented it or something, but it fell through the cracks.
