I wished I had gotten drunk yesterday, but I was tired, so that's something. Also, our cable went out right after I saw Justin Timberlake get inducted into the 5 Timers Club on SNL, right after the loudest damn thunder strike I ever heard, so that happened. Yeeeaaahh, I kinda wish I had gotten too drunk and tired to post a blog myself, my friends all scattering elsewhere for Spring Break is not helping my psyche.
But hey, nice pick ups there, guy. lol
All I really know about Michael Bay: A lot of people liked The Rock, Armageddon had a lot of Dorito's tie-ins when it first came out, and I like that cheesy Aerosmith song for it, I actually liked Pearl Harbor, but I was eleven at the time, I thought the first Transformers was "ok," the second was a chore to sit through, and never saw the third, and no one will like his take on TMNT, most likely.
This concludes my knowledge of Michael Bay's work.
You don't really "finish" a level in Tetris, the "levels" are just stages of the game that increase the difficulty by speeding up how fast the blocks drop down, and you go for as long as you can.
Good review. As a non-fan of Final Fantasy in general, I have to say, I pretty much like that it fucked everything you listed, and it actually sounds like this game would appeal to me; especially the story more focused on political intrigue and warfare than a whiny protagonist. Granted, that's not an uncommon story theme, but it is one I find more interesting.
The grinding, on the other hand, does not sound like something I'd love, but hey, Order of Ecclesia got me used to that crap, so with turn-based combat not really being in this, I might just be fine with it.
As for the videos, Gametrailers had much better presentation, but someone might want to tell them that the average of 7.2, 7.2, and 8.0 isn't 8.0 ... lol. I know that's not how they determined their score, but still.
Can't say I've played much Hitman, but if I ever feel like just getting several at once to get up to speed, sounds like it'd be worth it. Good to know.
Is this new, or was this part of the game a day challenge a few years back on 1up? Cause I remember "favorite towns" being one of the days, and you doing one. (Ed: I now see "1up Repost," and am not rushing to the gym, never mind lol)
In any case, I think Ravenholm sounds like a great concept for a gaming town.
It's cozy here ... too cozy...
I was going to say the lack of lip flaps sounds like Star Fox's awkward character lips, then I read the word barrel, then ... I refrained. Or, in other words I ... resisted.
I know what you mean about old blogs; I'm not sure if I should have deleted some of mine rather than archiving. But hey, here's to barrel rolling to a new start! ... shit.
