Yeah, SFA was really close to Louisiana, being in East Texas. We'll cry together over the lack of delicious Cane's sauce, as well as the fact there is also not a Jalapeno Tree near me. lol

Yeah, I've certainly never heard someone say they hate THPS in any case. I'm pretty ignorant on ska before the third wave (ie. No Doubt, Mighty Mighty Bosstones) myself, so it's the Youtube uploader you should thank for that primer. lol
Thanks for the kind words!
Thank you good sir!
Interesting that you mention Water Temple's forcing you to equip and unequip your boots as an unfavorable mechanic. That never actually got under my skin as much as Majora's Mask forcing me to pay excrutiating amount of attention to its time system in order to earn certain masks. After a while, I always get fatigued from having to pause and make sure I'm doing everything right at the right times.
I actually forgot about that wait for Eternal Darkness 2 screen, I remember that as well now.
MGS2 never bothered me as much with introducing Raiden either, really, so I guess I'm with Patrick on that. I think I was used to whiny male anime characters at the time, so while I preferred Snake, it wasn't so much of a shock to the system for me, and being too young to play the original MGS myself when it was released (I mostly just watched my older brother play it), I wasn't as bothered I didn't get to play as Snake, cause I never had for that long to begin with until later.
Nice podcast!
Awesome. The war of attrition sound of those boss battles is actually a complaint I've had with 2D Metroid bosses I've had for a while now, nice to see at least Deus Ex dvelopers are updating things a bit.
Well, you got a lot farther than I did probably, in any case. lol I might have a better time of it now.
Thanks for the bday wish!
Not being a JRPG gamer, I could never get into FFX when I rented it, but those cutscenes sure were gorgeous; can't wait to see what the HD updates of those look like.
For $2, that doesn't sound bad, and I do think infinite runner works for Sonic; I know what you mean about those water sections, I always hate being slowed down in a Sonic game. I still prefer 2 and 3 to CD quite a bit and feel the controls improved after 1, but I know where you're coming from. I loved Colors on NDS as well.
Never heard of that one, but I was definitely a fan of what Activision and Neversoft did with Tony Hawk's and... I kinda hope Neversoft changed their logo for that Disney game. lol Sounds like a fun game, though.
Thanks for the birthday wishes!
Oh wow, you've got lots of ska in your bloodline then. lol Thanks!
