I probably shouldn't rag on a particular age group. Immaturity can happen at any age. What I really mean is, if someone gets mad because a writer doesn't share their opinion, that's immature. Have a debate. Name-calling is pointless.
This "survival horror" designation is really nothing special. i mean it's just horror in a video game. I'm sure horror has been in games from the beginning, just maybe not as sucessfully scary and interactive as Resident Evil because it's one of the first in a fully 3D environment.
It's just pure immaturity. Can we get a demographic of who are commenting on these reviews? My guess is it skews very young, like teen or below.
A new Goodwill store is opening up in my area. I excited to go bargain hunting again sometime soon.
Goin' bug huntin' in EDF 2025 this weekend. Most of the secret achievements are for killing certain numbers of different bug and robot types. My friend Mark and I are taking aim at those. Also I'm trying to finish my next Nostalgic Vacation game. It's a 1994 rpg so it might take a while.
I have, of late, a strange fascination with Marshmallows, and when I saw the character Mallow mentioned in your review, I had to do some research. Turns out Mallow was born of King and Queen Nimbus and is cloud-like with special powers related to the weather. I can't figure out why his name is Mallow though. That usually refers to a family of plants, but it could be just something related to his puffy look. Cotton is of the mallows family. Also the name marshmallow is from "marsh mallow", the plant from which the sweet was originally made from.
Also Mallow's story is so adorable. He was lost from Nimbus Land and found by the sage Frogfucious who raised him as one of his own. Subseqently Mallow thought he was a tadpole in early life but was really bad at tadpole things like swimming and jumping. Later though he was on an erand for Frogfucious to buy a Cricket Pie in the Mushroom Kingdom and had his money stolen by Croco. He tried to chase him but wasn't fast enough and started to cry. Then it began to rain and he realized his power over the weather. Isn't that just cuter than cute?
I'm gonna keep my eye out for this PSP game. Thanks.

Nemesis for sure, but only as I saw it in the movies. I haven't played enough of any of the games to have any scares from them yet.
Darkstalkers Chronicle looks pretty cool. I love those characters even though I don't play many fighting games.
I've only played a little bit of all the Sonic games but I recognize that Green Hill Zone music right away. The Flying Battery Zone music is amazing; got my toe tapping here in the library; need that on my ipod pronto.
