Sonic and Megaman: Worlds Collide - review incoming

Posted on 03/30/2013 at 11:52 PM | Filed Under Blogs

I read about this in a 1up article during their Mega Man week way back, and saw a Sonic for Hire and Mega Man Dies at the End crossover on Youtube, but totally forgot. Thanks for the reminder!

Yeah, I really don't remember the story to Bloody Roar much at all, I just thought it looked cool when I saw my brother playing it; I don't remember the Primal Fury story much either for that matter, just that it was animated nicely.

I don't really understand people's issues with the series either, it might not be Soul Calibur or even Tekken, but it's fast as you said, and I definitely remember having good times with friends playing it as well. I'll grant that the presentation could be better, but it had some pretty cool environments, too, nonetheless.

It was the first game I owned for the original Game Boy myself, all the other ones were my brother's, and it's one of the only RPGs I remember with much fondness (there's a couple others, but JRPGs are still not my thing for the mostpart), so we do indeed have similar experiences with this game.

Only I'm starting to think I might have sold it and my GBC. Not sure.

It's a black box that connects to the bottom of the Gamecube, you can put a GBA game in it, and insert the Gamecube disc it comes with that interacts with the player to enable you to play your GBA games on your TV, with the Gamecube controller.

It does, although now all I need is to find Pokemon Blue, but I'm starting to think maybe I sold it and the GBC. It's certainly possible.

Yeah, I'm cataloging as I go along, have my CDs in an Excel file with whether I have the CD, the case, and the lyircs sheet. Probably will do the same with my games, books, and movies, but my movies and games aren't hard to keep track of in my head, and I have a gigantic pile of books of all varieties that's going to be a bitch to catalog.

Oh yeah, they were definitely important, I just thought it was funny cause it looked like Wolverine was singing to me. lol No disrespect to the band intended, I've seen a lot worse, and more importantly they sound great.

I loved the Tekkens, especially 2 and 3, but I do think Bloody Roar is better than average as well, for sure.

Ah, that's awesome. Feels so great to beat someone in a fighter, and make the loser soooo mad sometimes. I know I rage quit on a few of them when I'd lose. lol
