I know, but I watched my friend play it and he was like, "it's ok". I know that's not a great endorsement, but I'll play anything if it has campaign co-op. Also, he showed me all the endless references to the movies in the game. That's kinda neat. I also want to see for myself what all the bad press was talking about anyway.

Smash them pumpkins. SMASH!!!

So add The Halo Graphic Novel to the "good" pile. That one actually got me back into comics. The rest were ok but nothing special, and believe me, I read them all.

I think the 3D aspect led people to come up with a new term. I don't really see the need for it though. It's kinda redundant to me. Aren't you always trying to survive in a horror situation?

Everyone wants the cheesesteak. Maybe I should put a picture of a cheesesteak on every blog now, and change my ID pic to a cross-section of a cheesesteak. I'll title every blog: "How about them cheesesteaks and (fill in current game played)". I'm going to declare this year as the Year of the Cheesesteak and make every day a holiday of cheesesteak making and eating. Then I will attempt to BECOME a cheesesteak, by nothing more than an incredible force of will. Hahahahahahaha!!!! Ok nice men in white suits, I'll come with you.

It was $8. I'm going to pick up a second copy of Earth Defense Force Insect Armageddon tomorrow for a friend. That's $10 right now and has online co-op. I have a list of twenty-some games that have campaign co-op that I want. I'm keeping tabs on the prices until they hit something reasonable.

Well, hello again.

I'm waiting for the Ultimate Evil Edition to hit $20. That's my sweet spot too.

My first obsession wasn't gaming, it was stereo equipment. Back in the 80's I was really into learning about recievers, and speakers, and equilizers, and tape decks, and turntables. . .then the CD players hit and I was all over those, rebuying my favorite vinyl albums on the new format. Then there was car stereos, and boom boxes, and external mics, and reel to reel tape machines, and DAT recorders, and four track recording machines, and Walkmans, and. . . did I miss anything?

Oh the fried mushrooms are great. Perfect side item for a cheesesteak in my opinion. Much better than fries.

Wow, 2001 is full of great titles! In 2001 I was still playing PC games and Serious Sam was one of them. I really love the series and played the second one on PC too until I finally went full console gamer.

Have you seen this Talos Principle first person puzzle game Croteam did with the Serious Sam Engine?

I got this quote from Croteam's Gamescom recap: "And don't worry, there will be Serious Sam 4 after Talos and it will rock!" I can't wait!

It was. Not something I eat regularly any more but every once in a while it really hits the spot especially while going back and forth from football and gaming.

What they did to update and awesomize it (yes that's a new word coined by me) makes me want a long, long list of games to get the same treatment.
