I never figured out how to use Korg DS, but it's capable of a lot ... hence why it's so damn confusing to someone like me who's only played drums, guitar, and piano, and only one of those decently. lolI'm still interested in learning how to really use it, though.
Love this blog! That's why I've stopped reading reviews until after I've experienced things for myself. There are exceptions, for example I watch a lot of stuff tearing Sonic 06 apart, but a) I'll likely never play it and b) there's no spoilers I'd care about. But I noticed a while ago, if I read enough about something, I form a confirmation bias towards whatever I've read and take on the writers' opinions as my own before experiencing it. I hate that; thought my mind was more resitsant to "the Force," but I guess not. Also, I don't trust people under the age of thirty-five that tell me Citizen Kane is their favorite movie, which is in the same vein as what I'm saying, but deserving of a whole other rant. lol
Anyway, I have yet to play 3 to 5, but I really want to play all of them in order if I ever get the chance; know of any deals on PS1s, PS2s, PS3s, and all four of the released games? lol
Never played Four Swords, but it always looked like fun. I think all this Bioshock Infinite praise may just make me buy a PS3. That way I'll have a Blu Ray player too...
They were really good at the craft of trickery. My favorite part is the hints they'd leave. Reading that Wiki, I found out the same page as the Sheng Long gag asked you to spot the April Fools joke in the mag. Clever bastards...
I pretty much knew it was a fake, but funny video. lol
I did too. Wouldn't use the WW Link as my avatar if I didn't.
Yup. It was nice to find a lot of my old gaming stuff.
"You're not supposed to blow the bloody doors off!" LOL I have to say though, while I enjoyed that one when my dad rented it, I felt it was more like a Bond film almost; the remake was one of my favorite movies growing up. I won't argue that it's better, but I liked it.
It's about an old man that uses a robot to help him steal jewels as far as I know. I actually just got back from red box and rented The Sessions, which is about a dying, paralyzed man wanting to have sex before he goes. From that description, my mom was horrified, but I showed her the trailer, and she thought it looked cute, so we'll watch it tonight. lol
I think I'd consider Buddy Holly the father of nerd rock. Or maybe he's the great granddad? lol Devo are great, though.
