Oh cool. I like the pipe puzzles I've played in games like Bioshock (electrical there) and RocketMania (fuses there). There was another one too, but I can't think of it now.
I'm finding these free-2-play games I play like Gems of War and Asphalt 8 are basically endless.
The only ones I finish these days are the kids games I play for achievements. Games are too darn long, most of them.
I see so many on Game Pass every week. I'll have to dig into one.
Yea, they had a run of 4 and then they remade them for 3DS, then there was ETO 5 I believe. I have most of them. I wish there were more of those old style first-person dungeon crawls on console. I know only of one, Ostencia, or something similar in name on Xbox.
I was reading a quote from one of the developers on this game. He was saying how being a game maker of licensed kids games is a pretty good niche to be in. Something about reliable financial rewards. Also about how the older kids would hand down their old consoles to their siblings who want to play games of the tv shows they watch.
I love these Xevious style games even though they are brutally difficult after a while.
My friend and I have been obsessively playing Gems of War. I haven't unlocked the underworld yet though. I also left my clan so I could join the clan my friend just set up but my game wouldn't see it. I'm going to try again this weekend. Man, there is so much to do in this game from campaign stuff, city quests, pvp, daily challenges, special hunts, pet rescues, etc... . I find myself spending all my gametime in Gems of War. I'm trying to get into a routine where I jump in, play the daily challenges and move on, but there's always something else I have to check out in there.
Yea, I forgot it was an arcade game first. I mainly played it on 2600 when I was a kid.
