Hope you get better soon GH. Pixlbit wouldn't be the same without you.

There's a reason I just stick with Modern Warfare 1's Arcade Mode for my CoD fix. Why the others don't do this baffles me.
I'd recommend Tokyo Jungle for how weird and fun it is. It's on sale all the time too so you can pick it up cheap. Ni No Kuni I think would also be something you'd like.
Glad to see Journey isn't on here. Let's keep it that way.
I don't think consoles are specifically the problem, the real issue is a mix of greed and ignorance. All these games were compromised because their publishers wanted to make more money without understanding not everything can or should give CoD numbers. This comes from success, not consoles. Blaming console gamers does nothing but further the divide between PC and consoles which does absolutely nothing to help the industry. Blaming out of touch CEOs making decisons which hurt those series can get ones hurt by it back to their roots and prevent others from getting harmed.
The part in the lab is especially atmospheric. Those slow moving guys still freak me out.
The only one I've played is Resident Evil 4, but I like to play that every year around Halloween, even if it's just a little bit of that game. No matter what part it is, you're guaranteed to have a blast with that game, and I can count the number of games like that with one hand. I'd also probably play The Last of Us if I had the time to plow through it this month.
I agree completely. When I played AA, my thought wasn't that I wish there was more stuff to do. It was how I was so glad they were able to put the perfect amount of secrets and collectables in with just enough hidden by puzzles to keep it interesting. Bigger just hurt the SP and took away the motivation to find everything. Have no real interest in Origins, maybe when it's patched and under $20.
Another point I just want to bring up about AC because it was so damn annoying was how unfocused the plot was. In AA it was nice and simple, Joker takes control, has a plan, other supervillains get into trouble along the way. Everything was related to Joker and there was a mystery. AC, it was Strange has a plan, but Joker infected you in something unrelated. And let's just throw Two-Face and Penguin in even if their role wasn't that necessary! I think it would have worked better if it was just Strange or him and Joker working together in secret or take out Strange and have Joker be Rahs' secret cronie.
MGS3 is one of the best games I ever played. Should probably replay it sometime. Up Your Arsenal is fantastic too.
Nice picks. I will definitely be getting 3D World day one and probably Link Between Worlds and South Park for Christmas. All of them look so good.
My favorite is Godot, easily. He's the reason Trials and Tribulations is my favorite in the series, though that awesome final case certainly helps. After that I'd say Maya, Pearl, Gumshoe, and either Larry Butz or Wendy Oldbag.
