Yes, it came to the SNES in '93 but it was on PC first in '91. The one I'm playing is the 20th Anniversary edition out on everything except Xbox 360. It was $7.99 on PSN for Vita.
It'll be fun. I already feel a little pepped up thinking I won't have to work for 10 days straight.
I looked up Ys III on SNES and it's very different from the graphics of the PSP remake. I think it's even a 2D side scroller whereas the PSP remake is a isometric view. I kinda feel like I'm not getting the true retro experience. I'm tempted to go find the SNES cart, but I know it'll be pricey, so I probably won't.
Wow. That's all I have to say. Wow.
You can collect cars?! Oh yes, I'm in! I have Sleeping Dogs from Xbox Live Gold too. I loved collecting all the cars in Crackdown and then racing them all over town.
I don't remember what I watched during the week, if anything, when I was really young. I remember weekday TV when I was a teenager, but it wasn't cartoons. I got back into cartoons in the 90's with The Tick, and then watched cartoons on Adult Swim in the early 2000s like Venture Bros..
I will.
It's like, during a boss battle, when you're flailing away at buttons, the whole screen goes grey with a message saying, "do you want to quit?", and I scream "NO!" as I quickly click it away. Then it happens several times. I have to very carefully watch my fingers on the back of the PSP.
Kinda hard to make out the silhouette but is it Samus?
I booted up my DS lite last night for the first time in a while to make sure Breath of Fire would play on it. Works fine. It's a good size too. Fits in the pocket very comfortably. The hinges are a little loose though. I got it used. I hope it doesn't break.
