Game Freak also made a cool downloadable game on the 3DS called Pocket Card Jockey that combined horse racing with solitaire! It was a lot of fun and addictive. Some of the horses' names made reference to Pokemon, like "Volt Tackle" and "Bulba Soarer."
I rented this a couple of times and played it with my friend and really enjoyed it.
Later we saw the arcade version at Six Flags and were excited to play it.
Have you ever played Salamander 2? You chase the brain boss in the first level and when you think you're going to fight it again, a giant mouth comes and eats it and you must fight that instead!
That's pretty expensive for a NGPC. I don't even know if they cost that much when they first came out! I like SNK vs. Capcom: Card Fighters Clash more than Pokemon!

I remember that NEO GEO Battle Coliseum game. I thought it was neat they brought back old school Athena. My next two blogs are going to be SNK related. :)

Yeah if the NEO GEO Pocket Color was cheap enough, I would've said "get it!" That was one of my favorite handhelds. You might be reading about SNK a bit more in an upcoming blog...
I have a pretty good relationship with NISA for some reason. Not sure how that happened since I don't review their games much. But they do like me. :)
Game Builder Garage is great, but I still like WarioWare D.I.Y. better. Have you ever played that one?
Yeah I hate that for Yuji Naka, but when you make games, you gotta ask the tough questions like, "Is this fun?" and make changes if it's not. And that can be hard sometimes. But if they just made it where you didn't have to collect so many statues, and if they changed how you handled your power-up suits, I think it would've been a lot better.
Well I liked Ys 8 a little better than Ys 9, so if you want to play 8 first, I can't blame you! Just make sure to do all the sidequest you can when they appear. You'll get a better ending if you do. I learned that the hard way. That's the one thing they did improve on in Ys 9 is how they handle sidequests.
Yeah when I was playing Mario Golf: Super Rush the other day, I kept thinking how much fun this would be to play with others.
I still like having physical copies of games, but I'm just old fashioned.
Lots of PC games come out on consoles, but sometimes it takes a year or more for that to happen. So give it time, it just might!
