I made up my mind on a PS4, but not enough games in library for purchase right now. I am happy with my WiiU and PC games for now.

I haven't played enough of Mordor yet to get a good impression. You should check out the review on the front page. If you like Assassins Creed combat and Arkham Batman stealth then you'll like it. I don't particularly enjoy AC so there is that.
Okay. Thanks. That actually convinced me to give it more time to cook. I don't like how underpowered I feel at the beginning. Combat is kind of boring and repetetive in the early areas, but as I've leveled up it does get more "fun". I'm glad there are more areas to see. Too much ork slave camps everywhere. Nemesis system is quite good and kind of comical in a good way. I don't like the feeling of being gang raped every time I get spotted in an orc camp. Kind of like that playground fight with Neo and Smiths in Matrix Reloaded.
I'm actually having trouble getting into this game. I put it aside after a few captain kills and it isn't really grabbing me at all. One problem I have is that I think the world is ugly. Most of the game looks empty and brown with a few ruins lying around. Does the whole game look like this? I would have much preferred to have visited nicer parts of Middle Earth like the Shire or Minas Tirith. Opening up the world map and seeing all those quests makes me feel overwhelmed, and the combat is very button mashy and dumb. Does the game get better than this? The one part I do enjoy is that nemesis system you mentioned. I have been hunted by the same assholes every now and again which ruined my hunts. This part is neat.
What am I doing wrong? Help! I want to like this game.
I've been playing Mordor, Borderlands PreSequel and finished Evil Within. I'm currently playing Binding of Isaac Rebirth on PC.

Sorry to hear about your work woes. I hope you treat yourself to that PS4 and your kids to their portables. You are working too hard. At least you found a positive and are getting some fitness out of your work. I do love to wind down with a good ale every now and then.
Wait? You had to read through 7 hours of story before actual combat? Is that right?
Witcher 2 is a phenominal game. The sound and art design alone are worth the playthrough. I found the combat to be challenging and the crafting to be pretty deep. A terrific story as well. Not sure what puts people off this game so much? It's so good! SO good!
I forgot I loved Anime! I'm watching Space Dandy and Hellsing Ultimate. They are totally rad!
Those umm... pillows?!
I really wish that GOG had a media manager like STEAM. I've got GOG games all over my PC. I already own and played Witcher 2. Well worth it if it's free or on sale folks!
Thanks. I'm overwhelmed with options now.
