Yeah, it's a big pile of summer Blockbuster fun, just wanted a bit more weight to it, I guess. The twist was funny, but took a bit of the movie's air out of its tires, in my opinion, but I'll let you experience it for yourself.
I definitely didn't like it as much as I did the Avengers, but it does have that jokey actioner quality to it Avengers had. There are A LOT of action scenes though, and it'll probably look amazing in IMAX. Plus, if you see it this Saturday, everyone will be at Star Trek, so the crowds should definitely be more manageable.
I'm not really into Doom metal like this, either, honestly, too under-produced sounding for my tastes. I realize that's part of the point, sometimes, it's just not for me. Couldn't find "Infestation of Grey Death" on Youtube, either, which is weird cause it typed in the band name for me ...
I do like the introductory bit though; I've always heard Lee Dorrian's name, but couldn't remember where from. And Napalm Death was a punk band? I guess I've only ever heard their later stuff then. Interesting.

Yeah, I was never interested in the TV shows either, but I liked the new one for the same reasons you mentioned.
Only characters I remember are Tribbles, and that's cause I have George Takei as a "friend" on Facebook, and he posted a meme with those; well, I'd heard them referenced before, but that was how I knew what they looked like.

Both great bands you posted today. Interesting fact: In one of my Psychology classes in college, a kid in the class introduced himself as a Freemason. If it wasn't a Freemason, it was some other such society.
Using a strat guide makes it a lot less frustrating ... but it's still frustrating.
