The Despicable Me movies are really good. I just listened to the second movie's soundtrack. Lots of Pharell Williams songs on there.
What you say is very similar to what Jeff Strain (x Blizzard programmer) said in an interview on IGN's Podcast Unlocked. He said that it's great that there are so many gamers out there today, because you can always find an audience for a well made game of any type.
I just listened to an interview with the guy who was lead programmer on Diablo 1 on IGN's Podcast Unlocked. It got me thinking they should rerelease D1 and D2 for consoles. I know they won't though. I did play D2 way back when my friend and I were trying to learn networking on PCs. That was a chore.
I haven't played too many racing games in the arcade, but I do like the arcade style racers on consoles especially if they let you crash into things. Thus the Destruction Derby series and the Burnout series are my favorite racing games. Oh, and if you include motorcycles, Road Rash as well. That reminds me, I need to play Pure sometime soon. I loved the demo for that. Oh yea, and Split/Second too. AND Blur. I heard that's really good.
I read a bunch of Spectre comics a little while ago. I was looking for a DC equivalent of Dr. Strange. I enjoyed them, but not as much as Dr. Strange.
Titanfall was on sale this weekend on Xbox Live. I was very tempted to try it out. I want to drive one of those titans.
Sounds like that Raving Rabbids game I played, except that was kinda fun.
Far Cry Vengeance came out when they were porting the first Far Cry to Xbox 360. I've heard it's somehow different from the Xbox 360 version and not good. I've always wanted to try it out though, being a fan of the Far Cry series.
I love snow, but now that I have to drive around in it for work, I don't anymore. As long as I don't have to drive a compact car around in it, I'm fine with it.
