Well, Dragon Age feels a lot like FF12, but I doubt that Square will give us another game like that since it was panned by fans.

Exactly. I would imagine that FF fans prefer full console games, but since so much focus was placed on 13 and the extended development of Versus, who know where FF would be right now? Bravely Default was supposed to be a FF game, but Square wants to move the franchise away from that traditional feel for some reason, then BD made a ton of cash?
I like when people highlight obscure comics. I can't wait to ask my comic shop owner for 'Bitch Planet'.
"Um what...?" "Yeah. You know--the one with all them nekkit bitches in it?"
By the way, what do you think of 'Fables'? I'm just starting that, and apparently Scott Snyder is doing Dark Knight 3 with Frank Miller. What do you think about these things?
Another great article! What inspired you to write about music? I was going to do a blog about my favorite music in games. I personally enjoy good sound design. I was recently playing through The Wolf Among Us and I read an article that said that the soundtrack was jazzy, but I don't remember jazz music. I just remember the music subtley kicking up when things got intense. It has more atmospheric music. The opening theme is more of a dark 80's synth. I'm just saying subtle music is just as good as a nice loud sountrack. One of my favorites is from the final boss fight of Lightining Returns. Sounds like an opera.
I always have this concern with PC, if a game will work or not. If I had to choose, I'd buy a PS4. I honestly didn't care about Tomb Raider that much. I want it to be good though.
I hear ya! I'll have to wait unti PS4 and XBOne are on someones sidewalk sale or a swap meet, and I will be like 70 years old.
This is part of the reason why I'm holding back on next gen, I have a PC so I can play the new Street Fighter 5 and Rise of Tomb Raider and other 3rd party games, plus I already own a WiiU.
I just dont think that the company that makes the games is very reliable, historically speaking. Witcher 1 didn't really work that well on my PC either, and it wasn't my PC, it was just the way the game was made. Witcher 1 didn't work well until several years after patches were made. They are small company I think, so I wouldn't hold my breath too long for an earlier release date. I need only mention the Crew and Assasincs Creed Unity to illustrate how customers will turn on you with bad launches.
I want the game as soon as possible, like you I enjoy the franchise, but I really just a want a solid working game. There are plenty of games out there to play, or even Witcher books which are just splendid to read if you want a Witcher fixin.
I actually think this is a good thing. I remember giving up on Witcher 2 when it first came out on PC because it had certain bugs and didn't run that well on my hardware. Then after a few patches later, it ran much better. I ended up rebuying for 360, then played again on PC. Better a good game than a broken game I say. Oh, and I originally bought the collector box too.
Well, we should at least wait until after the holidays are over before celebrating. I honestly think Wii U is a better value this holiday with a stronger first party game lineup than Sony or Microsoft. I love playing off TV on the gamepad and I like the growing number titles on the eShop as well. Now if they would just sync up the 3DS profile to WiiU and make it all cross-platform would be nice.
