In the Wired Game/Life podcast last week Chris Kohler said Molyneux should now be "upgraded from a loveable clown, to a charlatan" over the Godus debacle. Sounds right to me.

I've been thinking of the Alien/Metroid connection a lot lately for some reason. I was trying to imagine what it must've felt like to get to the end of the game and see Samus take off her helmet and reveal she was a woman. I gotta try harder to get farther in the game next time.
On 360 it used to be right on the achievements page. You'd hit the center button, choose achievements, then a specific one, and then there was an option to share achievement. You only had to sign into Facebook once and you'd be on every time you signed into Live. Now that's not the case. I guess it's ok though. No one on my Facebook really plays games much except for like three people. Makes me wonder why I still use it. Oh yeah, family.
I saw it in Valiant Hearts and Child of Light. Ignored it both places. Seriously, I have to sign in to so many things already, I don't need another one.
Well, those casual games are influencing stuff on the gaming systems. Pokemon Shuffle just came out on 3DS and it's a free-to-play, match-three game, just like you see on phones. And yeah, lots of people who never play games are doing the casual stuff. Granted, they are fun for a minute or two, but I need something deeper.
