I've been doing weird things in games lately like not caring about the main quest and just messing around, or just doing one boss at a time. I think I'm getting out of my need to try and complete things. I just don't care about that much at the moment.

So you've watched DF2 like the way some people attempt to teach themselves languages by playing lesson tapes while they're asleep. Have you suddenly decided to do things "always the hard way" and, like Chucky, throw a captured villain out of a plane without a parachute and then go catch him in mid-air; or climb a shear cliff to get to a house when you could've just walked up a mountain road?
Oh yes. I played almost all of Paper Mario: Thousand Year door just about a year ago. Fantastic game!
It occured to me this week, that with these great RPGs, and all the other great Nintendo games, I now understand why someone would only play Nintendo games. They have great games in every genre.
The wiki page on Delta Force 2 said some of the criticism of it was that it was too much like Missing in Action.
Last FF game I played was XII and I couldn't get a handle on the battle system. Seemed confusing to me. I'll give it another shot sometime though.
Sounds pretty neat. I have this game in my collection, just haven't gotten to it yet. I like that playing the mini-games unlocks the story of one of the characters. I also like the weirdness.
I too have been using point cards. MS got me on their system, but I've managed to avoid doing it on Sony's so far.
