I had one of these.  Bought it in the late 90's at a flea market.  Pretty damn cool.  Unfortunately, I got rid of my collection when I moved from San Francisco back to the east coast.  I regret that a lot.

I might have to be an early adopter.  I want a new console this year, and it might be the Wii U or it might be the PS4.  I think I might wait on the Xbox though. IT all depends on the games, I guess.

I prefer the PS3, but if most people are Xbox capable, we can do that, no problem.  I just need to know what games are going to be played so I can pick them up.

You will not be disappointed in Skies of Arcadia.  That is a classic, classic, timeless game. I bought it for gamecube myself (i played the original on Dreamcast) a month or so ago but I've only played through the first level so far.  I love that game.
