I hate when that happens.
I hate when that happens.
My friend wants a Wii now. I thought about getting that mini-Wii and giving him my old one, but I think I might come across a regular Wii at a thift store sometime for very cheap, so I think I wait for that. Gamestop has a deal now for a Wii and five games for $80. I think I can find just the system for much cheaper somewhere.
Jade Empire was on my list to play a few weeks back. Didn't get to it though and now I have a new list. I'll get to it though. Actually, I played it way back when but never finished it. I got stuck on this one part fighting on a beach, I think.
I heard some more talk about Bravely Default and it's sequel now out only in Japan but maybe coming to the U.S. sometime. I think I need to own this game. I'm thinking of hunting down a copy soon.
I'm currently in the market for cheap stereo stuff. I'd like a turntable right now. I may get a USB one so I don't have to get an amplifier though. I just want to rip some vinyl for some hard to find stuff I know my used record store has.
This first open world game I played was Crackdown. Then I played Just Cause. I love both those games. GTA V feels a little bit like both of those games only I couldn't super jump anywhere and I think the shooting controls were a little better in Just Cause. That being said though, GTA V has the most detailed and alive world I've ever played in.
Red Dead is high on my list to play soon.
What's good about open world games is you can follow the story missions and make it feel more like a linear experience or just explore and make your own fun. You can do what you want with it. I do both. I follow the story and then when I just see something I want to do, I go do that for a while.
I used to go to the comic shop every week. I went to the last free comic book day. Totally forgot about this one, but I did go to my shop last week for some trades.
Naw. But maybe. If it was on the 3DS you could take up both screens. That could be cool.
Everyone's trying to get you to login to their website now. I couldn't save a picture on my phone in GTA V unless I signed up on their social page. Like I need another place to login with passwords and all that. No thanks.
I did master the gun-up thing, but when you do that mission with Trevor going on a rampage, and you have to get a number of kills in a certain time frame, I don't know how you do it fast enough without keeping the gun up all the time. I restarted that mission a bunch of times before moving on. I put the game back in my pile though. I think I might go back to it and work on that stuff. It's such a ripping good game.
The only reason why I didn't play Skyrim today (the day after this blog) was that I thought I could finish Uncharted in one day. That didn't happen. Darn these games taking so long.
