What is next gen like? Please tell all us peasants who are dirt poor. What is God like? 

I think most DS fans disliked DS2, myself included. For me it's DemonSouls>DarkSouls>DarkSouls2. I've talked about this all before, but for me the appeal of Souls is the darkness and horror and I felt like Demon's is the darkest. As for gameplay, Dark Souls is better for exploration, while I felt like DarkSouls2 was too multiplayer focused. I didn't hate DarkSouls2, just wasn't my favorite. 

Also, I usually try to play through like a zombie with no health and I don't care about souls either. Stuff I learned from Demon's. 

The main game is pretty cheap right now. Plus you get a free month I think, so if you sub for a couple months after, like 3 or the amount of a collector edition and DLC of any other AAA game, you can beat the main quest and experience a lot of the game in a few months the way I did. I haven't subbed in a while. I j ust played the main quest and leveled classes. I was waiting for more content. As MMOs go, it is worth the sub.

The game was also available with FF11 Online. Although it was seperate to the MMO. 

You can play a flash version online for free...somewhere. I know I've played it online before.

They are still milking the hell out of it too. They are releasing Triple Triad and a Motorcycle game with Cloud for mobile. 

I'm sure there is some truth to it. It took FF13 a very long time to develop because Square was developing their HD game engine on PS3 and it fucked them up. They make a lot of excuses, but honestly A Realm Reborn is running on all platforms except XBOX and it is sort of HD, very large and now has all that extra stuff that FF7 had.

I'm gonna have to go with Resident Evil Remake on Gamecube. I know there is a remake out now, but when that game first came out with those visuals, it was just so beautiful, in a horric sense. The lighting and the mansion just came alive. The game might be dated by now, but when that game came out when it did it was really amazing. It also describes my taste in games. Despair, Sadness, Anxiety, Scares, Darkness, Monsters. I would say that Demon's Souls captured that same vibe and atmosphere of a world that doesn't want you in it and everything wants to kill you. My close second would be Zelda: A Link to the Past on SNES. This game offers the other things I like about games. A big adventure with a large open world full of secrets and cool boss fights. 

Actually if GamerGate affected the shut down of Joystiq it might of been because the owner AOL was grossed out by all the GamerGate drama and just dumped their game related sites to distance themselves from all of it. Not necessarily becuase of ethics or whatever.

Honestly, keeping blogs short is the best way to go because there are so many and I just can't read them all anyway. I'm trying to keep them short as possible.
