It was cool when co-op shooters were suddenly a big thing in the 360 era. I wish I could have played more of them. Never played either Kane & Lynch game though.

I got this for my wife for her birthday (which, ironically, was on the exact day this released) because she loved Banjo-Kazooie was much as a kid, but she's been so busy first with Mass Effect Andromeda and then ESO: Morrowind that she hasn't started it yet -___-
I can't imagine streaming, personally. It seems like an extra layer of stress on top of playing. But if you like doing it, more power to you!
Hey, how about that Mario + Rabbids game that people keep describing as a secret XCOM game?
My favorite game I've played so far this year is Gravity Rush 2. You really ought to give that one a try, Cary. I just started playing Arkanoid vs. Space Invaders yesterday and really like it. I was gonna right up a short impressions blog but havent had a chance yet.
Even though there are some interesting things in July, it's nothing I'm willing spend full price on. August (Raiden V and Yakuza Kiwami) and September (Destiny 2 and Metroid) are gonna be expensive months.
The main thing is how often bad guys drop upgrade pods. It's not terribly difficult to get back up to full power. Usually if you die in a Gradius game and go down to your starting pea shooter, you're sunk
It's a little visually bland, I think. I don't often boot up the PS3 these days, though, so the chances of me playing it aren't real great
It is always nice having a digital back up. Frustrates me, though, when they give away a game I bought but never played, so I'm glad I played through Until Dawn last year. Good game.
I don't have the best history with Telltale games. I played some of the Back to the Future game but since that one is more of a traditional adventure game than their newer stuff, I gotta stuck early on and never went back to it. I made it, slowly, into the second episode of The Walking Dead (season one) before I realized I just wasn't having fun. Most of the characters are jerks in one way or another and someone is always pissed at you no matter what you do. It was very stressful in a not-fun way. Perhaps I'll soldier through for the story someday but I don't need that right now. Hoping I'll like Batman or Borderlands better.
